MLM Leads - What They Are and Why You Need Them
54
MLM Leads stands for multi-level marketing leads. MLM marketing leads are the lifeblood of any product or service oriented business. If a businessman can get quality MLM leads, and turn them into cash, then he will be a wealthy man. Sounds easy, but in reality today's consumers are more aware of their purchases than ever before, and many are conditioned to hate sales people in general. Cold calling, or trying to sell something to someone who didn't ask for it, has been declining in effectiveness over the years, and as a result, a need arose for qualified quality MLM leads.
The difference between qualified and unqualified leads is that a qualified lead has already demonstrated an interest in what you are selling. A qualified lead, for example, would be a guy who goes online and fills out a form to receive a newsletter covering stereo equipment. Now, if you were a business owner who sold stereo equipment, wouldn't you be eager to get this guy's email address and other contact information? Of course you would, but you would have to pay much more for a qualified lead like this than you would ever pay for an unqualified one.
Also, the more information that is available to you as a business owner who buys it, the more qualified it becomes. For example, if I just handed you the email address only of the guy interested in stereo eequipment, but you sell all kinds of stereo equipment (i.e. some for cars, boats, airplanes, etc.), there is a very good chance that this lead would be worthless to you since the customer is not interested in the type of stereo eequipment you sell. This wastes both your time and money, so what you want is a more qualified set of leads, ones that tell you what kind of stereo eequipment the customer is interested in. The more qualified a lead is, the more it costs.
Some companies post ads that say you will get free MLM leads if you only pay for a certain subscription or something along those lines. Don't use these companies, they are just taking your money and sending you a stack of names and addresses in no particular order taken right form the phone database. These types of low quality leads are called unqualified leads, and they are junk. Do yourself a favor and purchase high quality leads from a reputable source. A great source would be Dun and Bradstreet. They have been known to create very reliable high quality customer MLM leads, and they should be for the price they charge. D & B has thousands of employees who work on retrieving information for MLM leads. So when you get a D & B MLM lead, it will have a lot of specific information listed on it. This i the part that makes these leads so much better than any others.
